Typical scope:

- carbon-relevant process mapping (materials, energy, transport, waste)

We use it to:

Carbon Tracker® reports:

- often act as an entry point for organisations at an early stage
Carbon Tracker® reporting does not:
- replace EPDs
- compete with commercial LCA software
- act as a generic calculator
Its role is clarity, not automation.

Lightweight Digital Twins for Carbon Data Collection
Where appropriate, Carbon Tracker® uses lightweight digital twins to support data capture.
These are:
- minimal representations of the production system
- limited strictly to carbon-relevant data
- fast to implement
- tailored to your operation
Typical use cases:
- structured capture of production data
- linking process steps to carbon factors
- improving consistency and traceability over time
These are not:
- full factory simulations
- MES or ERP replacements
- generic “digital twin platforms”
What We Don’t Do
To avoid confusion and wasted effort, we are explicit.
We do not:
- sell generic carbon calculators
- compete with LCA software vendors
- develop large custom software platforms
- promise full digital twins or factory simulations
- deliver low-cost, volume-driven carbon reports
Our role is as system architects and advisors.
